This 3-week live workshop focuses on developing a loose, expressive watercolor style by mastering water control, color harmony, and simplification. Students will learn to paint confidently without overworking details, while creating fresh, spontaneous artworks through guided demonstrations and feedback.
Week 1 – Foundations of Loose Watercolor
Water–pigment ratio, wet-on-wet techniques, spattering, color lifting, and blending exercises to build confidence and flow.
Week 2 – Color Harmony & Expressive Techniques
Understanding color harmony, lost & found edges, expressive brushwork, and a guided paint-along with live feedback.
Week 3 – Simplifying & Painting Expressively
Breaking complex subjects into simple shapes, a final guided paint-along, personal feedback, and Q&A.
