What is MEANING?

Materials List

PAINT

Acrylic paints—1 black, 1 large titanium white, 2 reds, 2 yellows, 2 blues

( I use a limited palette. My favorite pigments are Quinacridone Rose, Hansa Yellow Medium, Phthalo Blue)

Acrylic Gel medium

Acrylic Matte medium (small jar)

Gesso (small jar)

Small Misting spray bottle

PALETTE:

Masterson palette (blue cover) or a plastic food storage container.

Freezer paper taped down makes a good mixing palette.

BRUSHES:

Variety of brushes for acrylic paint

palette knives.

SUBSTRATES:

4-6 sheets Watercolor paper 22 ” x 30” cold press or hot press 140 lb.

Drawing board to use as a support for the w/c paper.

Must have…...

1 Sketchbook 9” x 12 ”. (Strathmore 400 or Canson work best for our purposes)

1 8”x10” CLEAR plexiglass sheet

WET ERASE markers (I like Vis-a-vis markers COLOR PACK From Walmart or Amazon or Crayola w/c markers work fine

(*** NOT... DRY erase***. Won’t work for our purposes)

Scissors

2-3 Manila folders

Rice papers or basket style coffee filters

X-acto knife

Cutting mat or board

Glue stick

Paper towel

1 roll Masking tape
