Brushes and Tools
I personally love Blick Scholastic brushes. They are inexpensive and durable. Choose a variety of sizes and shapes, everyone has a different preference and we want ones that work for us.
A pallet knife is a perfect tool for mark making and deconstruction. Choose one or a few that look interesting; this will ultimately be a personal preference as well.
Oil paints
I highly recommend quick dry white by Gamblin. Winsor and Newton and Gamblin have a line of oils that are fast matte/quick dry. Purchase a few colors to mix in with your other oils and it will help with dry time. They have alkyd and linseed oils mixed in with them that
