Course Description
In this course I will help you discover the heart of your subject matter. To learn to look deeply and extract the essence of that which moved you. We will work from life and from photos.
Course Outline
Week 1- “The picture must begin as a poem” - Beginning an artwork intuitively.
Week 2- “It’s simple once you decide to stop making it difficult” - Drop your knowledge and see with the eyes of a child.
Week 3- “Take intuition seriously, be courageous, take a chance” - Make and maintain contact with your inner voice.
Week 3- “Don’t just add to the painting, finish it” - Learning to stop when you’ve had your say.
