Course Description
This four-week course focuses on observational oil painting through the study of self-portraiture. Using the self as a subject, students will develop core skills in seeing and translating form, light, and color from life into paint, building a strong foundation for all portrait practice. Through structured exercises and ongoing feedback, students develop greater accuracy, control, and visual sensitivity in oil paint.
